Apprenticeship opportunities on offer at City College
City College Brighton and Hove’s City Apprenticeships service is holding a series of sector-specific ‘Assessment Days’ where aspiring apprentices will be able to put themselves forward for the high number of apprenticeship vacancies currently available with local employers while also benefiting from a free recruitment service offering mentoring, mock interviewing and CV-writing assistance. Sectors covered include Hospitality, Digital Media, Customer Services, Business Admin, Hair & Beauty, Construction, Motor Vehicle, Childcare and Health & Social Care. The Assessment Days are being held at the College’s Central and City College East (Wilson Avenue) campuses during May, June and throughout the summer months.
“There are actually many more openings for apprenticeships than young people realise so these Assessment Days are providing a fantastic opportunity for aspiring apprentices to come along and prove that they’ve got the kind of qualities that employers are looking for”, said City Apprenticeships Recruitment Consultant, Nicole Bass.
