Year 8 Football Team pull it back from the brink
Congratulations to Longhill High School Year 8 Football Team who won the coveted League Cup Final (D2) this week.
By the second half, Longhill were 2-0 down to a strong Downlands team and things were looking bleak. Longhill then showed their grit and determination by fighting back to win the game 3-2 thanks to a spectacular free kick from Henry Blackmore and two goals from Harry Dawson.
Longhill High School prides itself on our professional PE team who bring a wealth of enthusiasm, knowledge and even their own experience in professional sports to their teaching of our students.
