A Fantastic Celebration of Sports Achievements
Over 150 of our fantastic students came together at the new Sports Awards Evening on Wednesday 19th September to celebrate the sporting and leadership talents of our hardworking students who have shown sporting and leadership talents across KS3. The evening featured a wide array of sports such as basketball, athletics, football, rugby and dance – to name only a few!
Awards were presented in a variety of categories such as Participation Awards, Highly Commended, Player of the Year, Services to Sport Leadership and Team of the Year.
Faculty Leader of PE and Performing Arts, Christian Fallick said “tonight is a special occasion as we celebrate inclusion, participation and excellence in a range of sports across the school. Last year was a fantastic year for commitment and achievement for all our students. We will set our expectations even higher this year and we want all students to be able to achieve success in school sport.”
We look forward to seeing everyone taking part in more sport this year!
Longhill High School would like to thank the sponsor Balloons of Brighton for supplying a wonderful display for the event.
