On Thursday 22 August 2019, we welcomed our Year 11 students back to Longhill High School to collect their long awaited GCSE results. It was a wonderful morning, full of celebrating success and discussing what the future holds for these talented young people. Parents, Staff and Governors were also in attendance, to commend the hard work of our amazing pupils.

Our results have shown success in a number of subjects and key measures but most improved is the number of students passing Maths and English combined at both 4 and above and 5 and above. This measure is a key measure for students future success and prospects.

Kate Williams, Headteacher said:

“I am extremely proud of our Year 11s and what they have achieved over the past 5 years. I have no doubt that this cohort of students will move forward in life to be kind, resilient, confident and successful individuals who will make a positive contribution, anywhere in the world. It has been a pleasure to teach them and I will miss them greatly”.
