Dolawen Trip
During the week of 16 September 2019, a group of 18 Year 9 students were invited to participate in a week long adventure in North Wales. Local company ‘Love Local Jobs’ sourced funding for these students so they could experience amazing activities such as mountain climbing, coasteering, rock climbing and clip-lining using the facilities at Dolawen.
The fabulous instructors from E3 Adventures guided them through, encouraging them to face challenges that they never thought they could overcome.The students’ attitude was exemplary and so overwhelmingly positive, despite some prior misgivings!
The students were an absolute credit to Longhill High School and their resilience, humour and support for each other will give them strong foundations for the academic and personal challenges they face up ahead.
