Options Assemblys

In the main hall this week, we have department heads pitching to our Year 9 students. This will be the first time that pupils will get to decide their subjects for GCSE, so it’s a important step to forge their career path for the future.

This Thursday Ms Wilson and Ms Perronno presented Triple Science and Modern Foreign Languages respectively. Although double Science is compulsory, there is the option to take Triple Science as an extra GCSE. This enables students who are passionate about the subject to get 5 additional hours of study per week. MFL on the other hand provides students the benefit of improving their memory, enhances their ability to multitask and potentially raise the performance in other academic areas.

We look forward to inviting Students and Parents to Options Evening tonight, between 5-7pm, access via the main hall.
