Letter from Chair of Governors

To all staff, parents and students of Longhill High School,

On behalf of the Governors I want to further update you on the situation regarding the selection and appointment of a new Headteacher.

As I stated before, our intention is to find the very best person for the job, and we have now agreed a timetable for the next phase of the recruitment process.

The post will be re-advertised next month, and we still intend to appoint a permanent headteacher to be in place in September. I hope that this information will go some way to resolving any uncertainty about the next steps in this process.

We will of course continue to support Mr. Holland in his role as acting Headteacher.
