Year 11 Leavers’ Barbecue
The Longhill High School Leavers’ Barbecue is an opportunity for students to meet up and celebrate the end of their exams. This year it was held on 10th July 2023.
This is always a really enjoyable event that brings students and staff together.
Students arrived at 4pm in the School’s main hall, making their way to the memorial garden to pick up some hot food. Once they got a chance to catch up with each other and their teachers. Ms Dykes and Mr Holland presented awards to the year group, ranging from who would most likely become a millionaire to best hair. After the presentation, students signed each others shirts, posed for some pictures and collected their tickets to Prom.
