On Inset days, the school is closed to students. Teachers and support staff will still attend school to participate in training and catch up on other administrative tasks. Inset days are normal practice for all maintained schools in the UK.

Roedean Academy Programme
YR8 Options evening showcases all the optional GCSE subjects available for students transitioning into GCSE study. The evening provides both parents and students with the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of what the curriculum for each subject would look like and what possible higher education or career paths it could lead to.
The Scholar’s Programme for Higher Ability Pupils
The Personnel and Finance Committee Meeting is where governors meet to discuss and agree financial and HR matters within the school. This meeting is open to governors only.
Roedean Academy Programme
Parents Evening provides parents and carers with the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers to gain a greater understanding of their progress and behaviour at school. This is a great opportunity to discuss the student’s successes and also if there is any further support ot development needed. Please book now {INSERT LINK}
