Be the Change – Year Nine
YR8 Options evening showcases all the optional GCSE subjects available for students transitioning into GCSE study. The evening provides both parents and students with the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of what the curriculum for each subject would look like and what possible higher education or career paths it could lead to.

Parents Evening provides parents and carers with the opportunity to meet their child’s teachers to gain a greater understanding of their progress and behaviour at school. Situated in the heart of the picturesque Sussex countryside, our students will have an opportunity to enjoy a ‘back to nature experience’. Set in oak enclosed meadows, with a beautiful scenic lake, Blacklands offers extensive on-site facilities. The week will include a wide range of exciting outdoor activities.
