Situated in the heart of the picturesque Sussex countryside, our students will have an opportunity to enjoy a ‘back to nature experience’. Set in oak enclosed meadows, with a beautiful scenic lake, Blacklands offers extensive on-site facilities. The week will include a wide range of exciting outdoor activities.
The Personnel and Finance Committee Meeting is where governors meet to discuss and agree financial and HR matters within the school. This meeting is open to governors only.
The Curriculum and Standards Committee Meeting is where our governors come together to discuss and review our student progress. The committee considers the effectiveness of the schools curriculum and teaching and learning strategy. This meeting is open to governors only.
Prom night is a fantastic opportunity for our YR11 students to celebrate graduating from Longhill High School in an evening of socialising, music, dance and fun. This years prom will be held at the beautiful Pangdean Barn. Students must participate in the ‘Passport to Prom’ programme in order to be eligable to attend. Please contact the Head of Year 11 for details.
New Intake Evening is an introduction to Longhill High School for students, parents and carers who will be joining us next academic year. The evening provides much needed resources and information, plus an opportunity to meet the student’s new mentor. The Full Governing Board Meeting is where our full governing board comes together to discuss the overall strategy and performance of the school. This meeting is open to governors only.
