YR7 Only Day provides our new intake with an opportunity to find their way around their new school in a less busy environment. We find that this helps settle our new students and gives them the much needed opportunity to get to know their new school.
All students return to school today.
The school is closed for October Half Term.
On Inset days, the school is closed to students. Teachers and support staff will still attend school to participate in training and catch up on other administrative tasks. Inset days are normal practice for all maintained schools in the UK.
Please come and join us for a magical evening and watch our annual Christmas pantomime! You will be in tears of laughter as our amazingly talented students walk the boards of our school stage. In true Longhill High School tradition, this year’s play was written by Deputy Headteacher, Bill Holland and is directed by Drama Teacher, Jo Fenwick.
