Are you ready to lead meaningful change and transform outcomes in Mathematics? This is a rare opportunity to take on a pivotal leadership role at a school on a clear upward trajectory, where ambition, clarity of vision, and a relentless focus on improvement are already making a difference.

This is an exciting time to join our school. In March 2024, Ofsted recognised that “there is an accurate understanding of the school’s priorities for improvement, which are being pursued with rigour and determination. The focus on behaviour and attendance is having a positive impact which is evident across the school.”

We are proud to foster a supportive and positive working environment. Our dedicated wellbeing committee provides ongoing support for colleagues, complemented by designated spaces for relaxation, as well as free tea and coffee and even a much-loved school therapy dog. Ofsted also noted that “leaders support staff well. They are mindful of their workload. Staff feel motivated and valued. They are grateful for the encouragement they receive.”

We are now seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher and leader with a proven track record of driving school improvement in Mathematics. This role offers a key opportunity to raise attainment and accelerate progress, while shaping a clear and ambitious strategic vision for the future of the faculty.

The successful candidate will be a passionate educator and an ambitious leader who believes wholeheartedly that every student can achieve. You will already have demonstrated a measurable impact on student outcomes and be committed to supporting colleagues in developing their classroom practice. Experience of working collaboratively to raise standards across a team would be highly advantageous.

School Benefits:

  • Supportive and approachable leadership with a strong focus on staff wellbeing and workload
  • A positive, collaborative staff culture where colleagues work closely together and support one another
  • A school recognised for its strong sense of community and shared purpose
  • Professional development and training opportunities, with encouragement to grow and develop within your role
  • A stable and secure working environment within a community school
  • A commitment to inclusion and high-quality SEND provision, working as part of a skilled and dedicated team
  • Access to an on-site sports centre and gym facilities, available via membership
  • Free onsite Parking

If you are:

  • A committed and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Mathematics
  • An excellent practitioner with a proven track record
  • An outstanding and innovative teacher
  • An inspirational leader, ready to motivate and support a dedicated team
