Year 11 Geography Trip
“Our geography field trip in Brighton to test our hypothesis; does quality of life increase/decrease as you move further away from the CBD (central business district)? As a group we could reach a better overall understanding, by asking the locals questions and taking notes of the environment.
Although it did rain on 1 out of the 2 days, it didn’t dampen the mood (no pun intended). We worked in small groups, sharing the data we had collected, as we walked through Brighton.
We found that we could neither approve, or disprove the hypothesis as when we moved along the transect out of Brighton’s CBD. The quality of life did vary in some areas, which made it fairly difficult to reach a full summary of the data.”
