Last month a group of our Year 9 Students went to the University of Brighton, on a trip run by PGCE Geography students focused on sustainable travel around the University.

They designed a survey for our group of students and they walked around the University of Sussex campus surveying passers by and recording results.

After 3 hours of doing this, they returned to one of the seminar rooms and worked on collating their survey data and drawing up comparative graphs.

The Students gathered a lot of useful data for the University that will provide useful to institution meeting their environmental goals. They were also were taken on brief tours of the University of Brighton lecture theatres and the academic library.
