Oxford University Trip
A group of our Year 10 and 11 students headed up to St John’s College, University of Oxford for a fantastic KS4 taster day this week.
They were treated to an eye opening experience, including the opportunities to talk to current undergraduate students, tours of the amazing buildings, both old and new and even have lunch in the incredible dining hall!
There were sessions on Material Science and Victorian Social Media, where the students took part in undergraduate level activities looking at alloys under microscopes, and Victorian publications.
The students were all fantastic, and a credit to the school. Many thanks to Richard and all of the team at St John’s.
