Art Trip to the Tate Modern
The Art department took a group of Y10 students to visit the Tate Modern Gallery on the Thursday 8th June. The Tate Modern Gallery holds a world class collection of contemporary international art and is a very enriching experience for any student studying GCSE Fine Art.
The students spent the day viewing exhibitions, as well as making sketchbook studies from the art works. They also had the opportunity to make observational drawings from the gallery of the London skyline.
