Dinomania: Prehistoric Takeover Brings Jurassic Excitement to Longhill

Over the weekend of 14–15 March 2026, Longhill Sports Centre was transformed into a prehistoric world as it hosted The Ultimate UK Dinosaur Show, Dinomania: Prehistoric Takeover. Families, and dinosaur enthusiasts stepped back in time for an unforgettable adventure led by Ranger Chris and the award‑winning Dinomania team.

Dinomania is celebrated as one of the UK’s most interactive dinosaur experiences, blending education, entertainment, and astonishingly realistic puppetry. The live show captivates audiences of all ages, offering a rare chance to come face‑to‑face with life-sized dinosaurs and adorable prehistoric babies.

One of the highlights of the event was the mobile dinosaur museum, open during the interval. Attendees got the chance to explore real and replica fossils, examined ancient artefacts, and learned more about the creatures that once roamed our planet.
