Year 7 pupils recently enjoyed an exciting trip to Drusillas Park, where they explored a range of wildlife and engaged in activities that complemented their learning in Science and Geography. The visit sparked curiosity and encouraged students to make meaningful connections between classroom topics and the natural world.

Year 8 students took part in a rich humanities experience in Rottingdean. The day combined history, art and geography, beginning with an exploration of the local area’s historical significance. Students then moved to the beach, where they created artwork inspired by the coastal environment, before completing a geographical fieldwork walk to examine both natural and man-made sea defences. This hands-on approach deepened their understanding of coastal processes and human impact.

Meanwhile, Year 9 students embraced an oracy-focused project through drama, performing scenes from Romeo and Juliet in a woodland setting. This creative experience developed confidence, communication skills and teamwork, bringing literature to life in an engaging and memorable way.
