Inspiring Futures: Highlights from Our Careers Fair
Last week, our school hosted a vibrant and engaging Careers Fair, providing students across year groups 7-10 with a valuable opportunity to explore a wide range of future pathways. The event was a fantastic success, with enthusiastic participation from students, staff, and external organisations, including employers, apprenticeship providers, and training agencies.

The Careers Fair aimed to inspire, inform, and empower students to start thinking about their futures — whether that be higher education, vocational training, or entering the world of work. Each organisation brought unique insights into their sector, offering practical advice and showcasing the skills and qualifications required to succeed.
Students were encouraged to ask questions, collect literature, and take part in interactive displays. From engineering and healthcare to sports and public services, there was something to spark curiosity in the event that was palpable, with many students leaving feeling more confident and informed about their options.

The event formed a key part of our school’s commitment to delivering a high-quality careers programme aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and was a collaborative effort supported by staff, governors, and external partners.
A huge thank you goes to all the organisations who gave their time, to our staff for their coordination, and to our students for engaging so positively throughout the day. We look forward to building on this success in future events and continuing to support our students as they prepare for life beyond school.
