Enhanced Government support to Brighton & Hove to bring Covid-19 cases down

Please  see 12 July 2021 letter from the Local Authority to parents & carers about additional support which is aimed to slow down the current high levels  of Covid-19 infection in the City.

Headteachers Advice following Positive Covid Cases at Longhill High School – 14.7.2021

The Headteacher has today written to parents in year 9 to inform them that 2 student in year 9 has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.  In line with Public Health advice, any child who has been in close contact with the individual have been requested to stay at home for 10 days.  

Free Women’s Football Festival

Kickstart Festival – free football come and try event for all self-identifying women aged 16+ Friday 9th July – Stanley Deason Leisure Centre, Wilson Avenue, Brighton, BN2 SPB. 6pm & 7.30pm  Try out soccercise – a fun workout with a live DJ.    Introduction to walking football.  Introduction to small-sided football.

Year 11 Prom date is now 21 July 2021

  Due to the Government pause in Step- 4 of the National Covid-19 Roadmap, we have had to move the date of this year’s Year 11 Prom.  Luckily we have been able to obtain Pangdean Barn for the following Wednesday – 21 July 2021
